Todd Herman talks with Dan Rayburn about MSNBC.com's strategy, implementation and advertising for MSN Video. Todd began working in streaming media shortly after its inception, while at the forefront of the Hot Talk Radio movement. In 1998, he founded and served as CEO of theDial, (now Loudeye Radio), a seminal Internet Radio Pioneer. theDial served private labeled audio and technology to top 100 web properties and was the first to welcome multiple Fortune 500 companies to Internet Radio advertising. As President of Mediagasm, LLC, he consulted media and technology companies including Microsoft, MSNBC.com and Ads.com --an early pioneer in serving Television advertising online-- where he conceived of and refined his three C's of serving streaming media to consumers: control, condense & combine. He is a contributing expert to The Streaming Media Bible by Steve Mack (2002, Wiley & Sons).  Before co-founding theDial, Mr. Herman worked in most every facet of radio including several years as a nationally known radio talk show host perhaps most remembered for contributing to the defeat of a sitting House Speaker in 1994. Todd Herman is an exciting, provocative and experienced speaker on media, advertising, pop culture and the Internet as an entertainment delivery device..
